De janeiro a maio deste ano, o volume das atividades tur\u00edsticas na Bahia cresceu 10,7%, na compara\u00e7\u00e3o com o mesmo per\u00edodo do ano passado, enquanto no Brasil houve um aumento de 7%. No recorte de maio de 2025 com o mesmo m\u00eas de 2024, o turismo baiano cresceu 12,5%, outra vez \u00e0 frente da m\u00e9dia no pa\u00eds, que ficou em 9,5%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J\u00e1 de acordo com a Superintend\u00eancia de Estudos Sociais e Econ\u00f4micos da Bahia (SEI), somente no primeiro trimestre de 2025, o estado arrecadou no turismo mais de R$ 1,5 bilh\u00e3o em Imposto sobre Circula\u00e7\u00e3o de Mercadorias e Servi\u00e7os (ICMS), um aumento de 20,5%, no comparativo com o mesmo trimestre de 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os resultados superaram as expectativas da Setur-BA. \u201cEm paralelo \u00e0 pesquisa do IBGE, o Governo do Estado faz o acompanhamento da movimenta\u00e7\u00e3o nas 13 zonas tur\u00edsticas baianas, e comemora os resultados do instituto, que superaram as nossas estimativas para os cinco primeiros meses do ano.
